Chasing the news. The stories I enjoyed most in my nearly 40 years as a broadcast journalist involved a pursuit. Pursuit of truth. Of justice. Of narratives that needed to be told with both clarity and compassion.
Chasing jobs would take me to nine different cities. I crisscrossed the country several times, moving so frequently that it would take years before I finally felt I could unpack all my cardboard boxes.
In chronological order, here’s a list of the nine cities and news stations where I worked:
Philadelphia – KYW Newsradio
Boston - WBZ-TV
Tulsa- KTUL-TV
Atlanta - CNN2 and CNN
Seattle - KIRO-TV
Boston – WHDH-TV
New York – WWOR-TV
Los Angeles – KCOP-TV
San Francisco – KPIX-TV and KNTV-TV
San Diego – KUSI-TV
